Application Manager

My responsibilities:

• Responsible for the day-to-day operation and support of our cloud-based development, test and production environments 
• Manage user access, roles and permissions across development and operational platforms such as GitLab, Jenkins, Kubernetes, monitoring and application management tools.
• Act as the primary contact for internal users regarding application access, operational support and service requests.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, ensuring appropriate authorization management and compliance with internal policies.
• Monitor application health and system performance using logging and monitoring solutions such as Grafana, Loki, Prometheus and Dynatrace.
• Support deployment activities and release management processes in close cooperation with DevOps Engineers and development teams.
• Perform application configuration, system administration and routine maintenance tasks.
• Analyze incidents, coordinate troubleshooting activities and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.
• Maintain application documentation, operational procedures and knowledge base articles.
• Work closely with external service providers, infrastructure teams and software vendors.
• Participate in cross-functional agile teams and contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and service quality.

 The knowledge I own:

• Experience in Application Management, IT Operations, System Administration or a similar role.
• Basic understanding of DevOps environments and tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Helm and cloud platform
• Experience with user and authorization management.
• Familiarity with Linux-based environments and web application operations.
• Knowledge of IT service management processes such as Incident Management, Change Management and Access Management.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools is an advantage (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Dynatrace).
• Understanding of cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a service-oriented mindset.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in international and cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum.
• Fluent English skills, both written and spoken.
