Senior DevOps Engineer

My responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring and optimising the operation of our cloud-based production, test and development environments for an international B2B tendering platform. 
• Drive the evolution of our CI/CD pipeline with tools such as GitLab, Jenkins and Maven. 
• Work in a cross-functional, agile team. 
• The development and operation of your own tools and services to support developers and application operations are in your area of responsibility. 
• Configure and operate logging and monitoring solutions. 
• Responsible for the deployment of new program versions. 
• Work closely with external service providers. 

The knowledge I own:

• Degree with a focus on information technology or several years of professional experience in this field. 
• Experience with OSS technologies such as Linux, Git, Tomcat, Java, GitLab and Jenkins as well as MS SQL Server. 
• Knowledge of cloud environments, especially on Azure, as well as IaC with Terraform. 
• Experience in deploying applications in Kubernetes clusters with Helm and ArgoCD. 
• Extensive experience with CI/CD, especially the automation of builds, tests and deployments. 
• Familiarity with monitoring, especially tools like Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, and Dynatrace. 
• Familiarity with agile software development methods such as Scrum. 
• Working style is characterized by initiative, flexibility and the ability to work in a team, complemented by a strong talent for planning and organization. 
• Well-versed in agile working methods and actively contribute your ideas in order to continuously develop strategies and concepts. 
• Fluency in English
