SAP License Manager

My responsibilities:

• Act as the single point of contact for global SAP licensing for ALDI Süd, partnering with the relevant business departments on all SAP license topics (product portfolio, license usage, license models, budgeting, etc.)
• Ensure license compliance and optimize license usage by continuously consulting, analysing, assessing, and improving the SAP licenses in place
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks through active risk management
• Prepare and communicate SAP license position reports/balances internally
• Coordinate and consolidate SAP cost planning with the affected business departments
• Design and implement innovations in SAP license management
• Support the continued development and maintenance of the license management tool
• Contribute to the creation of processes and guidelines, define interfaces, support training and internal communication, and prepare for internal and external audits
• Work closely with SAP vendor management and strategic procurement

The knowledge I own:

• A degree or vocational training with a focus on IT or business administration
• Proven professional experience in SAP license management
• Experience with a software asset management (SAM) tool specialized for SAP solutions
• Very strong English skills
• Strong teamwork mindset, clear communication skills, and ease building stakeholder relationships
• Ability to analyse and structure complex data, including working with analytical tools
• Strong numerical affinity
• Expert knowledge of the MS Office suite, especially MS Excel (advantageous) 
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is an advantage
