E-Data Interchange (EDI) Onboarding Specialist

My responsibilities:

• Monitor the onboarding progress of business partners to ensure timely and successful completion,
• Conduct end-to-end testing with business partners in SAP to validate EDI transactions and processes,
• Coordinate re-testing cycles in case of interface updates (e.g. MIG Updates) or major changes from the business partner side,
• Manage and coordinate onboarding escalation issues, working closely with business partners and internal teams to resolve challenges,
• Communicate clearly with all stakeholders to provide updates and align expectations,
• Support documentation and continuous improvement of onboarding processes.

The knowledge I own:

• Experience in EDI onboarding, testing, or task coordination,
• Strong understanding of EDI transactions and business processes supported by EDI (P2P, D2F, 3PL),
• Technical expertise needed:
  • EDI (EDIFACT / EANCOM & ANSI x.12)
  • Transport technologies (AS2, SFTP, etc.)
  • SAP (S/4 & TM)
• English AND German knowledge (minimum B2),
• Willingness to work in shifts (7/24), on weekends, and on bank holidays as well (additional shift allowance is applicable),
• Excellent organizational and communication skills,
• Ability to manage multiple onboarding tasks simultaneously,
• Collaborative mindset and proactive problem-solving ability.Strong communicator to bridge gaps between technical teams, business teams and business partners,
• Patient and persistent in managing re-testing and escalation processes,
• Proactive in identifying risks and driving solutions to keep onboarding on track.
