Your responsibilities:
- Define technical architecture and deployment guardrails for releases/cutovers to ensure consistent, buildable, deployable, and supportable execution
- Translate release/cutover concepts into technical feasibility: data-load approach, dependencies, interfaces, integration patterns, and technical sequencing
- Ensure rollback/fallback readiness at technical level (where and how reversibility/contingency is supported)
- Evaluate and communicate technical risks for releases/cutover windows (e.g., transport/dependency constraints, environment readiness, compatibility)
- Provide technical guidance to Release Manager / Cutover Lead / Cutover Coordinator for architecture-consistent decisions and stage-gate readiness
The knowledge I own:
Must-haves:
- Strong technical background in release/deployment engineering within Enterprise ecosystems (e.g., SAP-related environments)
- Ability to design/validate deployment and cutover patterns (sequencing, dependencies, technical readiness)
- Experience with technical risk assessment tied to release milestones (readiness, constraints, rollback feasibility)
- Ability to translate “governance concepts” into implementable technical instructions for execution teams
- Deep understanding of integration points that affect release outcomes (systems, data loads, interfaces)
Nice-to-haves:
- Understanding of DevOps & CI/CD concepts and how they affect release-to-deployment traceability
- Knowledge of automation opportunities for deployment/cutover support (e.g., standardized checks, scripted validations)
- Experience/interest in using GenAI-assisted tooling for technical documentation/standardization (with review and compliance)
