Your responsibilities:

  • Ensure cutover readiness, including entry/readiness criteria, plan completeness, and coordinated pre-checks for each phase (SIT/UAT/PRD)
  • Prepare operational execution setup: Control Tower / War Room / Focus Room, shift plan organization, whitelist setup, and communication channels
  • Create and maintain execution tracking in JIRA (project/boards/dashboards, Kanban/Big Gant views, uploading and updating cutover plans)
  • Coordinate business mitigations: downtime windows, communication packs, EOD/ramp-up materials, and expectations for impacted countries/projects
  • Coordinate authorization readiness activities (e.g., access/role readiness, required requests/items) and collect plan sign-offs
  • Support and assist execution during cutover windows by ensuring readiness checks, monitoring key status signals, and capturing lessons learned for plan updates

The knowledge I own:

Must-haves​:

  • Ownership of cutover readiness (preparation of entry/readiness criteria, plan readiness, coordinated checks)​
  • Shift plan setup, including participant organization in alignment with War Room/Control Tower​
  • JIRA setup and steering (project/boards/dashboards, uploading/updating cutover plans, enablement tracks)​
  • Coordination of business mitigations (downtime/comms packages, EOD/ramp-up materials)​
  • Operational support during SIT/UAT/PRD (plan/comms flows, sign-off collection, transition of outcomes)​
  • Post-execution: integrate lessons learned into updated plan versions​
  • Tools: ServiceNow ITSM/JIRA/Confluence/MS Project​

Nice-to-haves​:

  • Knowledge of automation to improve efficiency for reporting, plan updates, and communication chains​
  • Experience/interest in GenAI-assisted workflows for consistent plan/comms updates (with approval workflow)
