Delivery Lead

My responsibilities:

​We are looking for a Delivery Lead to ensure reliable, high-quality delivery across our SAP BTP DevOps teams. In this role, you will act as the bridge between business and technology, driving alignment, solving delivery challenges, and enabling teams to perform at their best. You will play a key part in shaping processes, fostering collaboration, and developing people to achieve sustainable success. 

• Drive reliable delivery across DevOps product teams, ensuring quality, efficiency, and alignment with business needs. 
• Act as the key link between business and technology, aligning tactical priorities and ensuring delivery assurance. 
• Take ownership of escalations, managing scope, timelines, resources, and quality, while implementing effective solutions. 
• Provide clear, timely reporting on delivery progress, budgets, and team performance. 
• Champion standards for documentation, DevOps processes, and ways of working. 
• Identify and implement continuous improvements in tools, processes, and delivery practices. 
• Foster a culture of knowledge sharing, training, and mentoring across product teams and stakeholders. 
• Contribute to the Scrum Community to share best practices and drive continuous improvement. 

The knowledge I own:

• 5+ years of experience in IT delivery management, IT project/program management, or a similar role in a DevOps or Agile environment
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, or similar) and DevOps practices
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to align business and technology priorities
• Experience in managing escalations, risks, and dependencies across multiple teams
• Solid background in reporting on delivery metrics, budgets, and performance
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and standard DevOps toolchains
• Ability to perform under pressure, with quick comprehension and fast learning 
• Ability to drive process improvements and foster a culture of continuous learning
• Fluent in English; German language is a plus
• SAP BTP knowledge or experience is considered a strong advantage
