Medior Backend Developer - Java

My responsibilities: 

• Designing solutions in close collaboration with the product owners and business stakeholders 
• Being part of a cross-functional, product-oriented Scrum Team 
• Evaluating and defining our technology stack for a complete solution overhaul 
• Delivering working software to cloud environments 
• Continually learning and evaluating new technologies 
• Driving best practices in our engineering community as well as providing and discussing innovative solution approaches 
• Developing and operating cloud applications within a DevOps team (incl. UX/UI, front-end and back-end logic, database model, authorisation concept) 

The knowledge I own: 

• Strong architecture and programming skills in Java
• Extensive understanding of back-end technologies (Spring Boot or Quarkus), as well as of databases (MS SQL Server, Redis) 
• Curious by nature; interested in and open to exploring the latest technologies
• Good communication skills, solution-oriented work attitude as well as outstanding analytical capabilities 
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field 
• Five years of relevant professional work experience 
• Fluency in English  

Desirable extras:

• Experience in continuous integration and deployment (GitLab, Argo CD) 
• Experience with MS Azure (Kubernetes)
• Experience in front-end development (JS, Angular)
• Good German language skills
